Recognised as one of Essex's leading independent estate agents with a reputation built on intimate local knowledge, Montagues have been serving Epping, Ongar, and the surrounding villages for over 20 years.

With a shift in the local market and increasing pressure from the competition, Montagues approach us to help reposition the agency so that it better reflects the taste and heritage of the area they serve and reinforces the long-standing reputation they have built. Montagues are in the business of selling and letting properties and as such needed to remain highly visible on the high street and importantly in front of the properties they were sign-posting.

We started with research, initially conducting competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities. We also looked to profile the local market to understand aspirations and motivations. Of course, it's imperative we understood the goals of Montagues and dig deep to get to their values.

These insights were incredibly important for us to form approaches that set the direction of the brand identity. Connecting a history, service, and visibility.

We married a brand identity that reflected the heritage of the ancient forest and surrounding areas that has made Epping and its royal connections famous with a bold and striking colour scheme.
